These days, We are seeing lots of Smartphones comes with
Fast charge.
Fast charging Technology is not very old, its has come in Smartphones almost 3 or 4 years ago.
Though, it is quite useful in various situation like when you have no
much time to charge your daily driver.
Qualcomm is using
Quick charge Technology in Qualcomm powerd phones,
OnePlus using
Dash charging Technology for charge their smartphone and motorola is using a
turbo charge ( based on quick charge) as quickly as possible.
Some years ago, Qualcomm introduced a Qualcomm quick charge 1.0! 1.0 is the
version of quick charging Technology.
After that, quick charge improved by
Qualcomm a lot. Between the innovations of quick charge tech it maked quick charge
1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 etc. And become fast and very fast.
Similerly,
OnePlus using Dash charge. As of now Dash charge Technology is in the
lead because, its faster than any other
fast charging Technology.
Its massive output is 5 valts @ 4 Amp!
Very fast.
OnePlus also says it can charge your OnePlus device
60% in just
35 minutes.
So,
how it works? Let's find it out and cover some
myths about it!
The reason behind it, is
support and
hand shake mechanism!
The concept is very simple, fast charging throwing a
big amount of current supply to charge your Smartphone but, it is not easy as you think.
Fast charge supported phones need to
handle this big current and then charge itself in
optimum value.
For handling this big current we need to have a proper
circuit that can handle this current and charge the phone
safely and
adequately.
You have to note one thing, these technologies can't work together. means,
Qualcomm's quick charge can't work with
OnePlus device's and Dash charge cant charge your other phone's Fastly Than OnePlus devices.
You should have same charger for these
technologies.
if you have a phone that not have any fast charging support then your phone can't charge fastly because of their is no
support for handle this current. Result is your phone will charge as
normal charger.
One thing i noticed about fast charger and normal charger is, when i using a
normal charger like
5V=1A or
5V=2A then the phone can give me
15% more battery life than a
fast charging.
Also when you using a fast charger, your phone can generate a
heat! Don't worry about it is
normal for
fast charging.
It all depends on Technology, so don't worry, follow the
instructions in your smart phone guide.
Tips for fast charging Phones,
- First check what is the output is suitable for your device.
- Purchase a good quality and certified fast charger from official brands or third party manufacturer.
- Use a good quality (Most probably Thick )USB cable for charge your smartphone.
- Charge the Smartphones in normal temperature.
- If you want to charge a smartphone overnight or for a long time then, must use a normal charger.
These are some tips from me, you can use yours that you know, by that you can improve the charging.
Let's clear some myths about it,
- Some people thiks if they plug a fast charger in normal phone, then their phone can charge fastly. So this will not happen because lack of support of fast charging.
- Some people's think if they put a fast charger on a normal phone then their smartphone can blast or it can harm the battery. So this will also a myth because, every phone a circuit for that and that circuit can minimizing the over current and provide normal supply. But if you are facing problem about that then i suggest to use a normal charger comes with a phone.
- The heating of phone's when charging can harm your device, it is also a myth because if your phone supprts a fast charging, then the heating is normal in a fast charging supported phone.
- Some people thinking, normal charger can't charge their smartphone. So, Normal charger can charge your Smartphone easily. Don't worry!
These are some myth about charging the Smartphones so do not follow any of them and feel free to charge the Smartphones!
